Every 5 years your Oriental and area rugs should be thoroughly
washed. This will restore the richness of colors, softness
of fibers as well as preventing premature wearing. We have
been cleaning and repairing rugs for over twenty years and
believe that the proper care of your rugs will greatly improve
the performance and life expectancy of your rug.

Deoderize $.75 per square foot
We use a number of different products depending on the source
of the odor and the nature of the fiber. We use anti-microbial
treatments, enzymes, fragrance and the combination of these
to obtain the desired results.
Sanitize $1.00 per square foot
Sanitizing is similar to deodorizing but uses some slightly
stronger products to kill bacteria on contact. This will remove
minor urine stains heavy duty spills and strong smells.
Disinfectant $1.25 per square
foot
Kills mold and mildew often using anti microbial treatments
used for heavy staining and smells and badly treated rugs.
Urine decontamination 7.50
per square foot
Our most aggressive option when a rug has considerable staining
and odor. The rug will be soaked in a solution for several
hours then will be completely rinsed and cleaned. This decontamination
process is our only guaranteed odor removal process.
Dust mite treatment $.75 per
square foot
This all natural treatment works great against the most common
of house hold allergies. The way it works is by deactivation
the allergen found in dust mite droppings (this is what makes
you allergic) by denaturing the substance. This treatment
works really well for those of you allergic to dust mites.
Moth repellent $.75 per square
foot
This treatment is not a pesticide and will
not kill moths or carpet beetles. It creates an irritant that
seems to repel the insects away from the fiber. It’s
applied after the cleaning process and leaves no odors. This
is highly recommended for rugs that will be stored for any
length of time or if there has been any previous insect infestations.
Force field stain resist $1.25
per square foot
The best stain protection available (in our
opinion). It slows penetration of spots and spills and allows
more time to remove or treat the stain. Force field makes
cleaning and general maintenance easier. This treatment is
only effective until the next professional cleaning
Infestation $2.25 per square
foot
No need for moth balls ever again. This treatment
is applied prior to cleaning and will kill all insects and
eggs on contact.

Repairing
rugs
Lock-stitching $12.00 per running
foot
Stops rugs from unraveling which can lead
to major repairs and destroy the value of old rugs. A neat,
nearly invisible stitch is sewn back and forth from end to
end.
Overcasting $11.00 - $16.00
per running foot depending on carpet type
The side finish on Oriental rugs eventually
may detach from the rug, get chewed off (dogs and cats) or
wear down from high traffic. This procedure also can save
the life expectancy of your Oriental rug. We simply take matching
yarn and patiently overcast what is needed.
Binding $4.00 per running foot
For finishing off certain types of rugs we staple and
glue matching fabric binding tape which gives the rug a finished look
and also stops rug from unraveling and fraying.
Serging $7.00 per running foot
For finishing off certain types of rugs we serge yarn around the border,
which gives the rug a finished look and also stops rug from unraveling and fraying.
Refringing $16.00 per running
foot
Fringe is hand sewn and there are many types
to choose from so it looks like the original fringe.
Trim Fringe $.50 per running
foot
Sometimes fringe may wear down or fray with
time and hard wear. We simply cut the fringe evenly across
the rug, like cutting off split ends. This adds a nice crisp
look to your rug.

Repairs are based on $35.00 per hour. Any
jobs not mentioned above must be estimated by Jay as there
are so many that they would be too numerous to mention.
